Whether facing a forensic data recovery company as a Plaintiff or as a Defendant, in the context of litigation, every assistance can be helpful. In particular, Transparen's Forensics Group is engaged in a research project about the conduct of forensic data recovery companies in the marketplace, and would like to learn intimately in every detail all of the strengths and weaknesses of the technology practice of forensic data recovery companies in the marketplace.
Transparen's Forensics team is interested only in information determined in the process of litigation. In particular Transparen's Forensics team is NOT interested in confidential or privileged information, or in trade secrets of the forensic data recovery company or any other party.
Transparen Corporation is not interested in the accounting practices of any member firms of any associated international body that is not the forensic data recovery company itself.
Transparen Corporation's Forensic Team will be more than happy to:
- Sit in while the forensic data recovery company collects digital evidence, and prepare an affidavit about the conduct of the forensic data recovery company staff in doing so
- Attend court hearings in Vancouver where the forensic data recovery-related evidence or expert testimony regarding digital evidence will be presented
- Review affidavits by the forensic data recovery company or associated firms to assess the relative strength or weakness of testimony regarding digital evidence
- Perform a low-cost independent Forensic Digital Copy of your hard drives in preparation for a trial where another forensic data recovery company may be a party or a witness
This offer is limited by the following:
- Consulting may be limited to 2 hours, but may also be provided indefinitely, subject to Transparen's determination about the usefulness of the information gathered about the forensic data recovery company.
- Transparen reserves the right to confirm or decline to appear in court on specific days, or in general, at any time.
- Transparen accepts no liability for the results of consultations and testimony provided, and the client waives the right to sue Transparen in relation to this consultation and any testimony provided.
- Transparen Corporation is only interested in aspects of the behaviour of the forensic data recovery company having to do with digital evidence.
